Terms & Refund Policy

1. Who we are

MOODE MIXES ("MOODE MIXES", "we", "us") sells Pro Tools vocal presets and session templates, mixing and mastering services, custom vocal chains and 1-on-1 mixing classes through moodemixes.com. Questions about these terms: moodemixes@gmail.com.

By buying anything from us, or by ticking the box at checkout, you agree to these terms.

2. What we sell and what it costs

Prices marked "launch price" on the site are introductory and may go up. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

3. Refund policy: all sales final

Every purchase is final and non-refundable. That covers digital products (presets, templates, bundles), services (mixing, mastering, tuning, custom vocal chains) and classes. Because digital files can't be "returned," and because service and class time is reserved for you once you book, we don't offer refunds, partial refunds or exchanges, including for change of mind, not owning the required plugins, or not liking how a preset sounds on your recording.

The one exception, non-delivery: if we fail to deliver a product or service you paid for, and don't fix it within 7 days of you emailing us about it, we'll refund that purchase in full.

If a download link doesn't work, email us and we'll send the files again. That's a delivery fix, not a refund.

4. Chargebacks

Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most problems get fixed in a reply. Filing a chargeback on a delivered purchase breaks these terms: we'll submit your checkbox acceptance and delivery records to the payment processor, and we may refuse future orders.

5. Presets and templates: your license

When you buy a preset, template or bundle, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it in your own music production, on unlimited songs, including songs you release and earn money from. You don't owe us royalties or credit (a shout-out is always appreciated).

You may not: resell, share, upload, give away or redistribute the files (as-is or modified); include them in another preset pack, template or product; or share your download link. Engineers may use a preset on client sessions they mix themselves, but may not hand the preset files to the client.

The presets and templates remain the property of MOODE MIXES.

6. Plugin and software requirements

Everything we sell is built and tested in Avid Pro Tools. The free Starter Vocal Chain uses stock Pro Tools plugins only. The Rap, Melodic and R&B presets require third-party plugins from Waves and Antares (plus the free Valhalla Supermassive on Rap and R&B, and Cradle's The God Particle on Melodic). The exact plugins for each preset are listed on its product card under "All you need" and "Exact plugins used" before purchase.

You're responsible for owning compatible versions of Pro Tools and every listed plugin. If a plugin is missing, that slot will load inactive; this is not a defect and not grounds for a refund. We're not affiliated with Avid, Waves, Antares, Valhalla or Cradle, and their names are trademarks of their owners.

7. Mixing, mastering, tuning and custom chains

• Your files: after payment, you'll receive instructions for sending your files. Work starts once we have everything needed. We'll tell you the estimated turnaround when you order.
• What's included: each service includes what its description on the site lists. A Custom Vocal Chain includes one revision. Anything beyond the description can be quoted separately.
• Your music, your rights: you keep 100% ownership of your songs, recordings and masters. You confirm you have the right to the audio you send (including beats and samples) and permission to have it mixed or mastered.
• Promotion: we'll only use your audio in before/after demos or marketing if you give written permission.
• Results: the final sound depends on the quality of the recording you provide. We don't guarantee chart placement, streams or any specific outcome.

8. 1-on-1 classes

• Classes happen live over video call at the time you book. You'll need Pro Tools, your session and a stable internet connection.
• Rescheduling: you can reschedule once, free, with at least 24 hours' notice through your booking link. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the session, with no refund.
• If we have to cancel, we'll reschedule you at no cost, or refund that session if we can't find a time.
• A 3-Session Pack, and the 60-minute class included in the Premium Artist Package, must be booked and used within 90 days of purchase.
• Services included in a bundle (Mix Feedback, Vocal Tuning, Custom Vocal Chain) are for one song each and must be claimed by sending your files within 90 days of purchase. Mix Feedback is written notes from MoodE on one song; it doesn't include mixing or file changes.
• Sessions may not be recorded or redistributed without our permission.

9. Free downloads and email

To get the free Starter Vocal Chain, you give us your first name and email, and we add you to our email list (run through Kit) to send new chains, videos and offers. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. We don't sell your information.

10. No warranties

Products and services are provided "as is." We work hard to make them great, but we don't promise they'll suit every voice, recording, computer or plugin version, or that they'll be error-free.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost sessions, lost data or lost income. Always back up your sessions.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought something applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
